My first exhibition that I curated was a show on Pablo Picasso's ceramics and prints. It took place in the castle granary, on the so called "guest floor", where we hosted external private galleries and artist groups to present shows during the summer season. From almost all exhibitions that took place at the granary since 1998, we bought works of art from contemporary artists, which built the foundation to our family collection of Czech modern and contemporary art. All Picasso works that were shown at the 2002 exhibition came from a private collection in Switzerland and I shipped it all in my personal car to Bechyne.
